Bravo Qatar recognizes and respects the privacy of users of this website. When you choose to provide us with data about yourself, Bravo Qatar will act in a responsible manner. Bravo Qatar may store and disclose personal data allowed or required by applicable law, including making disclosures that are necessary or advisable to (a) protect the rights, safety or property of Bravo Qatar or others and (b) conform to legal or regulatory requirements. Without your express approval, however, Bravo Qatar will not trade, sell or rent your personal data but may collect and/or provide aggregate statistics about its website and users to other parties. Bravo Qatar has no intention of collecting any personal data from individuals under 13 years of age. When you view certain parts of the website, information may be stored on your computer. This information will be in the form of a “Cookie” or similar file and will permit tailoring of the website to better match your interests and/or preferences. 

This site contains links to other websites and Bravo Qatar does not control the privacy policies of those sites. This privacy statement only applies to personal data collected and maintained by Bravo Qatar.

Privacy Law Terms

Persons whose personal data is collected should be aware of the following additional information.

A. Categories of Personal Data and Purposes of Processing. The “Submit” form which you use to submit personal data to this site, and this information is used to respond to your message in the form. Contact information which you submit through the Contact page, Investor Relations portal, or the Newsroom, is used to respond to your inquiries. Resumes, CVs, and information you actively provide to apply to job postings in the Careers section. Your company contact information you actively provide to register your company in the Suppliers Registration section. Personal data provided to apply for a contribution from Bravo Qatar as detailed on the page “What You Need to Apply for a Grant” is used only for the grant application and contribution process.

B. Details of Transfers to Third Parties or Third Countries and Safeguards. Your personal data may be transferred to and accessed by Bravo Qatar company offices including to some countries which may be deemed by to have an adequate level of protection of personal data. Your personal data may also be transferred to and processed on the third party-hosted websites of Bravo Qatar partners, who provide support such as helping Bravo Qatar to manage the data process. Transfers of personal data collected and processed within Bravo Qatar, or outside Bravo Qatar by such third parties, shall be made consistent with Bravo Qatar’s Binding Corporate Rules. This includes technical and organizational controls upon third parties who may receive your personal data.

C. Other Uses of Personal Data, including Disclosure to Third Parties. In addition to the above, you acknowledge and consent to the fact that Bravo Qatar may maintain personal data and any other information you provide if required to do so by law or if Bravo Qatar has a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process; to investigate, prevent or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; to respond to claims of third parties; to protect Bravo Qatar’s or third party’s rights, property, safety; or to otherwise enforce this Agreement or the integrity of the site and data. You acknowledge and consent to such disclosure. Circumstances may arise where for business or technological reasons (e.g., for purposes of investigation, routine audits, site administration and improvement, data storage and recovery, and other analytics), it might be necessary for Bravo Qatar and certain of its third party contractors/service providers acting on Bravo Qatar’s behalf, to have access to personal information and content submitted via this site. It is Bravo Qatar’s practice to require any such service providers who might have access to personal or confidential information in the course of providing services to Bravo Qatar to be bound by confidentiality obligations designed to protect any such personal or confidential information.

D. Legal Basis for Processing. The legal basis for processing your personal data with Bravo Qatar is as follows. It may be necessary for compliance with legal obligations to which Bravo Qatar is subject, such as reporting of compliance with law to certain government agencies, to exercise its legal rights where it is necessary to do so, for example to detect, prevent and respond to fraud claims, intellectual property claims or violations of law, and may be necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of Bravo Qatar, to ensure that it can effectively manage and communicate regarding its business efficiently, to perform investigations, and to carry out audits of compliance. When we process personal data to meet our legitimate interests, we always balance these against your fundamental rights and freedoms and we put in place robust safeguards to ensure that your privacy is protected. If Bravo Qatar asks for your consent to process your personal data, and your personal data is subject to European law, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

E. Retention. Your personal data will be held for only so long as it is needed for Bravo Qatar’s business purposes, and in accordance with applicable corporate document retention schedules. These schedules are designed to comply with applicable data privacy and other legislation, and to assist Bravo Qatar in maintaining business records which it may need to conduct its business and to respond to lawful requests for information in connection with legal claims or disputes. F. Certain Rights. You have rights under law to access and rectify, or erase, restrict, or object to Bravo Qatar’s use of your personal data. You have rights under International law to request that Bravo Qatar disclose what personal information it collects, uses, discloses, and sells, which it has done in this Notice, and the right to request the deletion of your personal information collected by Bravo Qatar, as well as the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for the exercise of your privacy rights conferred by International law.
